Community action
Faith with its sleeves rolled up
We believe love is something you do. Here's a little of how we try to serve Crowthorne and beyond.
CBC supports:
- The local Foodbank
- Tools With a Mission
- Yeldall Manor (a local Christian drug and alcohol rehab centre for men)
- Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child” Shoeboxes
- The Ark Preschool (Link)
- Zone 7/8 (Link)
- Care Home Services: A monthly service at St Brendan’s
- Care Home, including a popular carol service.
- Open the Book: A small team of members goes into two local primary schools to deliver the programme from the Bible Society. This is very much valued by the schools. The children dress up and take part in the stories and so we are never short of volunteers!!

Caring for the planet
We’re committed to caring for God’s creation and doing what we can to protect and nurture our planet for future generations.
Our Eco Church Silver Award reflects our ongoing commitment to living responsibly and making a positive difference.
CBC also supports Baptist Home Mission and Baptist World Mission
Churches Together in Crowthorne
CBC is an active member of Churches Together in Crowthorne (CTC), working closely with Anglican, Methodist, Catholic, and Vineyard churches. Together we organise joint services and large-scale outreach events, including the Good Friday Walk of Witness, Late Night Christmas Shopping, and the Summer Activities on 4 Friday afternoons, which attract over 500 children each year.
